Canaanland to sing

Canaanland will sing at 6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 31, at Smithfield First Pentecostal Holiness Church, 1000 Wilson's Mills Road, Smithfield.

Admission is free; the church will collect an offering for the group.

Gospel music

The North Carolina Baptist Singers and Orchestra will perform at 6:40 p.m. Monday, Feb. 22, at Mount Moriah Baptist Church, 3000 East Garner Road, Garner. The group includes music ministers and accompanists from Baptist churches across the state.

Relationship series

Kingdom Harvest Church in Garner will start a new series, "Relationship Matters." The series is at 10 a.m. every Sunday from Jan. 31 through Feb. 28.

Inspiration Station

Mount Zion United Methodist Church has launched "Inspiration Station," a family-friendly, interactive worship service at 5 p.m. Sundays.

The church is at 15772 N.C. 50, a quarter-mile south of N.C. 42 in the Cleveland community.

Brunch for women

A brunch for women is scheduled from 9:30 a.m. till 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 30, at Baptist Center Church, 2163 Ranch Road, Clayton.

The morning will offer food, music, fellowship and door prizes.

Horne Memorial UMC

Golden Gates, a musical youth group from Russia, will perform at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 10, in the fellowship hall at Horne Memorial United Methodist Church, 121 E. 2nd St., Clayton.
